Getting Started/Inviting your team
Inviting your team
Add colleagues to your organisation and give them the right role.
Sending invitations
Owners and admins can invite people from Team. Choose Invite a member, enter their email address and pick a role — admin, member or auditor. See Roles & permissions for what each can do.
The invitee receives an email with a link to accept. If they don’t have a StayEvident account yet, they can create one from the same screen. Invitations expire after 7 days.
Joining with a code
Each invitation also has a short code. If the email goes astray, the invitee can enter the code on the join screen instead of using the link.
Inviting your external auditor
Give your certification body’s auditor the auditor role. Auditors have read-only access across your organisation, including audit-day mode and the audit pack PDF, but can’t change anything.
Belonging to more than one organisation
A person can belong to several organisations — for example, a consultant supporting multiple clients — and switch between them from the organisation menu. Data is never shared between organisations.
Managing members
From Team, owners and admins can change a member’s role or remove them. Only an owner can change or remove another owner.
