Getting Started/Choosing standards
Choosing standards
Adopt the ISO standards you're pursuing and run them as one integrated management system.
Supported standards
StayEvident supports:
- ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management systems (overview)
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — Information security management systems, including the 93 Annex A controls in their four themes (organisational, people, physical, technological) (overview)
Clause guidance in StayEvident is written in our own plain English. It helps you interpret each requirement, but it doesn’t replace your own copy of the standard.
Adopting a standard
Open Conformance → Browse standards and choose Adopt. Your plan sets how many standards you can adopt at once — see Billing & plans.
Adopting a standard switches on the modules it governs. For example, ISO 9001 turns on Calibration (7.1.5), Nonconformances (8.7) and Customer feedback (9.1.2). ISO/IEC 27001 governs the Suppliers register through Annex A’s supplier controls (A.5.19–A.5.22). You can switch optional modules on or off in Settings → Modules. See Registers & modules.
One management system, many standards
StayEvident runs one integrated management system per organisation, with each standard acting as a lens over it. You don’t keep a separate system per standard: your documents, risks, audits, CAPAs and training records are shared.
Where ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 have equivalent clauses — for example, internal audit (9.2), management review (9.3) or documented information (7.5) — evidence you confirm for one standard is offered as a suggestion for the other. You accept or dismiss each suggestion, so nothing is reused without a decision.
